Venu handles high-traffic ticket drops across independent frontend applications, covering simulated waiting rooms, interactive seat selection, and digital ticket checkout.

Buying tickets for popular tech conferences can be frustrating due to site crashes and confusing queues. Venu was built to solve this by providing a reliable and smooth ticketing platform that connects event organizers with attendees.
The main challenge was keeping the user experience smooth and responsive during high traffic spikes. To achieve this, I decoupled a traditional monolithic platform into independently deployable Microfrontends while still managing real-time queue states and inventory locks.
Built a dynamic landing experience with responsive carousel animations and fluid transitions, allowing users to effortlessly explore featured tech conferences and festivals.
Engineered an immersive event detail view presenting session schedules, speaker lineups, ticket tier breakdowns, and venue info before leading users into the booking queue.
Designed a client-side state machine to simulate high-traffic queue dynamics. It orchestrates position updates, status transitions, and automatic access redirection to deliver a calm waiting experience without inducing panic-refreshes.
Developed an interactive seat-mapping interface featuring zoned pricing and tier categorizations. Built-in temporary reservation locks hold chosen seats in real time before the checkout countdown session expires.

Engineered a streamlined, low-friction guest checkout flow that immediately issues scannable digital passes. Generates unique QR codes containing ticket metadata ready for fast event turnstile check-ins.

Using Webpack Module Federation, the platform stitches together separate 'Discovery', 'Ticketing', and 'Checkout' applications without the user noticing any page loads.
The landing page is designed to handle high-demand traffic while maintaining a premium feel. It uses dynamic GSAP animations and clear calls-to-action to guide users seamlessly into the ticketing queue.

The interface dynamically scales and adapts to mobile screens, ensuring a frictionless user experience across all devices.

Venu shows that a domain-separated Microfrontend architecture can deliver a seamless user experience while isolating heavy traffic loads across different applications.
I found that the hardest part of Microfrontends isn't the bundler setup, but defining clear domain boundaries and managing state across independent apps.
